We were appointed to undertake the full design, strip out, improvement and enhanced CAT B fitout to this 2 storey independent business park building on the outskirts of Ipswich creating a new Group Headquarters facility for over 250 staff.
The building was initially partially stripped back to open up the floors, with a focus on retaining as much useable content of the existing installations where practical then dovetailing these with the new installations required by the client. The works included:
· New staff welfare areas, tea points and a feature “Deli-Bar”
· Complete remodelling of the existing WC’s to improve the look and feel
· Additional mechanical VRF system required by the layout and intelligent lighting systems whilst retaining workable existing systems that were less than 3 years old to minimise cost and waste
· New partitions both solid and glazed to form cellular spaces meeting rooms and ancillary spaces (Post Room etc)
· New Comms Room Facility
· Fire Stopping and Builders Works
· Full redecoration package including installation of timber slat wall joinery
· New floor finishes throughout
· Co-ordination with client direct AV/Security/Access Control and CCTV teams plus EV vehicle charging in Car Park
While working with the Artemis team on the design and fit-out for our new Head office I found them to be, from the outset, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Their passion stood out, the attention to detail in the design and understanding our business requirements was outstanding, They were proactive in their attempts to get the office ready for our tight deadline and dealing with the many changes we threw at them, communication was always on point throughout the process. It’s been a pleasure to work with people who are exceptional at what they do.
