Case Study

Artemis Interiors were appointed by V7 Asset Management to fit out the new gym space for the Here + Now Campus in Reading.

The new urban style gymnasium is home to a studio, running bikes and a free weights section, with bespoke graphics and neon signage throughout which adds ambience to the space.

Along with exposed high-level services, concrete soffits and feature suspended lighting, also the recycling of trainers to create a small track area.

Challenges

Finding a suitable location to house the AHU in close proximity to the gym.

Solutions

Formed a new stand alone riser cupboard within the foot plate of the gym housing the AHU and DB’s serving the space. The enclosure was formed in such a way it blended in with other risers and arranged in such a way to minimise the amount of floor space it took up.
