Artemis were appointed by Crystal Palace FC and their professional team to undertake the phase two works of a five phase programme for their new training academy. The aim of the entire development is for the academy to achieve Premiership Category 1 status, which they secured following the successful delivery of phase two.
Works comprised of structural alterations and the refurbishment of an existing four floor building spread across two linked split level properties totalling 13,000 sq ft, a new build glass and steel main entrance and the formation of a watertight basement enclosure.
The spaces created on the lower levels provide the Club with new changing and showering facilities for players from both the Under 8’s and Under 23’s, as well as changing facilities for match officials and CPFC staff, a new gym, physio suites, laundry and kit rooms completed works to this area.
The upper floors consist of both open plan and cellular office accommodation, with associated break out and collaboration spaces, including an external terrace with views across the training pitches, Boardroom, match analysis rooms and three classrooms.
A new commercial standard catering kitchen, with bespoke servery was installed, along with a restaurant and viewing terrace.
